Don't worry, and don't jump to conclusions, i'm only moving because i want a new account name is all, i just feel that 'Eclipse-James' doesn't accurately represent me or my style anymore. Besides, a name change and a fresh start sounds exciting to me!

I'd also like to take this moment to mention something else. As you all know, drawing Sonic style is something that i have done for a large portion of my gallery in my time on DA, but during that time i was only studying Sonic style as a means of experimentation and had no intentions of taking up the art style permanently, nor did i. I feel that i have completed my focus on Sonic-styled art, and i've been studying various other forms of drawing and been getting back to my roots in art for a long time now, although i haven't actually posted any on DA as most of it has either been some rather scrappy little sketches that i can't be bothered scanning, or has been a part of my Graphics folio for highschool. In the latter case, i can't actually post any of that work on the internet, otherwise the assessers who then take my folio upon it's completion, will think that i stole work from an online artist known as 'Eclipse-James', thus to avoid this, i simply won't post any of it until my folio has been completed, and has been way past assessment. Unfortunately this won't be for quite some time.

So that's pretty much an explanation fo why i haven't submitted anything in such a long time, but it's also just my warning to everyone saying that if you watched me simply because you believed i was a sonic-focused artist, i'm deeply sorry but you will find yourselves disappointed if you don't appreciate the wider spectrum that is art, because i don't plan to be drawing Sonic-styled as commonly as i did. Rest-assures i'm not 'giving up' the art style or despising it in any way, i still find it fun to make and i don't regret a single moment of my time drawing in that style, studying it actually taught me a lot of things about cartoon-like proportions and other drawing techniques. I will most likely have moments where i will submit some sonic-styled stuff alongside my other works, but i will mainly be submitting work that revolves around my own individual style purely, rather than my style being applied to the sonic universe solely. Long story short: i still like Sonic style and still appreciate it as an art form, but i'm done studying it now, so i won't be focusing on it throughout my own work. 'kay? 'KAY!

I'm leaving this gallery as it is here, but will probably move it all to my new one in due time. So don't worry. TEH ART WILL STILL BE ON TEH INTERWEBS!
